How to survive on the Moon

As part of our Solar System topic, we have been investigating what you would need to survive on the moon. We worked together in groups to rank items in order of importance  Our top 5 things that we decided were needed are:

1. Oxygen tanks
2. Plenty of water
3. Dehydrated food
4. A map of the moon
5. A radio to contact planet Earth

Measuring volume!

We have been estimating and measuring the total volume of different sized containers. We used measuring jugs and funnels to make sure we were being exact with our measurements.

Junk modelling

We have been rushed off our feet preparing for Burns day. We have been working in cooperative groups to design an appropriate centrepiece for a Burns Supper. After we designed our centrepieces, it was time to get making. Here are some pictures of us getting started.
